Healthcare Conference For The Blackdown Hills

The NHS and Social Services will adopt new government community health strategies in early 2008 under the designation My Life - My Choice.  BHC has decided to hold a Conference in late 2008 which will consider ways of enhancing access to care but will also take time to unpack the benefits of My Life - My Choice to patients and carers in the rural area.

Retired GP and Chairman of BHC Jonathan Meads said "we have very good healthcare in the Blackdown Hills but we want to encourage good to become excellent".  He is keen to hear from those professionals or carers who will be impacted by the upcoming changes in order that the conference will benefit the widest possible audience.
