Hemyock Acorns have had an interesting programme of speakers so far this year. Brenda Persey started it off with a selection of music and songs to suit all tastes. This was followed by an informative talk on 'Wills and Power of Attorney' by Bill Bennett and colleagues. In March members were delighted to welcome Mike Bolton, who had come at short notice to give a most interesting presentation, which incorporated 'Photography', 'Family History' and 'Fun'. Future talks will be Mr Williams in April speaking about walking around Britain with his dog.
In May members will hear about Oxfam and its shops. Meetings are held in Forbe's Lounge on the third Wednesday of each month, starting at 2.45pm.
