Hemyock Acorns have continued to be entertained with excellent Speakers. In April it was Mike Bolton who gave a presentation on photography with digitally enhanced family pictures.

His expertise with I.T. was very evident. In May it was time to listen to George Williams who has walked the coastline of Britain with just his dog for company. He had many interesting experiences en-route.. mostly pleasant. However, he only got as far as Skegness at this meeting so he will have to come again if members want to hear the end of the adventure.

The May Meeting gave people a chance to learn the History of Oxfam. The next meeting on Wednesday June 17th will be a demonstration on making a hanging basket while on July 15th Mr Raymond Budd will tell of his life as a Black and White Minstrel.

The Acorns meet in Forbes Lounge at 2.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month. There is always an excellent raffle followed by refreshments.New Members of any age are always welcome.
