In June Valley Arts and Social Society held a most successful  launch evening, guests enjoyed a black tie dinner provided by Karin and Jane followed by a well used professional casino.

The hall was transformed into a night club for the evening, with plenty of cocktails to try and Jason Baxter playing jazz music throughout.

In August members are taking part in a treasure hunt and BBQ.

We are proud to be staging our first production with music and dance in October. The production is" Beauty and the Beast" and meetings are starting in the Forbes
Lounge on Thursdays at 7.30pm.

We are delighted that our well known, experienced NODA Rep, Janet Elworthy is joining us to direct the production. Janet is planning a modern, high quality, fun production with singing and dancing. Her daughter Jo, who works at the Globe Theatre in London, has agreed to choreograph the show! So now we have the recipe for an excellent production.
