Hemyock win Pottinger Cup

The Pottinger Cup is the 'Mastermind' for local gardeners and is keenly fought over each year. This year the competition was held at the beautiful new Burlescombe and Westleigh Hall on Wednesday 21 October. There were teams from Burlescombe, Sampford Peverall, Willand. Hemyock traditionally does well in the competion and this year we won. The picture shows the winning team, Left to Right; Sue Scantlebury, Jane Smith, Jane Atlee, Christine Carver.
