Quiz masters Tony and Vanessa return for Hemyock Cricket Club's Quiz Night on Saturday 21st April.

 

Go and see ‘The Amazing Film of Hemyock ‘ and you will find it it not only amazingly well filmed but fascinating and absorbing and amusing in equal measure.
There are even quite a few well known Clayhidon faces in it.
I must admit that the thought of two hours watching life in Hemyock over the last seven years didn’t sound that riveting, but it truly was.

Hemyock Singers are now rehearsing for our next Concert which will be in St Mary’s, Hemyock on Saturday 28 April at 7.30pm.  The programme includes a selection from ‘The Armed Man’ by Karl Jenkins which is a powerful and dramatic contemporary Mass for Peace.  We continue to rehearse in Hemyock Baptist Church on Mondays at 7.30pm and new recruits, or returning choristers, are always most welcome

Peter Barrett is having an exhibition of his latest paintings at The Garages, Millhayes, Hemyock, November 24th to 28th 2017, 9.30 am to 6.30 pm daily.   There’ll be oils and watercolours of Dartmoor landscapes, local woodland scenes,  bird studies, and many other west country subjects.
