Hemyock Cricket Club currently compete in the West Somerset C ricket League.  We play on the Recreation Field, Hemyock, and use the changing room facilities located in the Parish Hall, next to the ground.

Hemyock Batsman Scores A Double Century

In Hemyock Cricket Club's first league match of the season played at Brompton Ralph, Andy Perrott scored a remarkable 207 not out in the 40-over fixture which Hemyock won by a massive 280 runs.

CRICKET TEA MAKERS: £40 per match

If you would like to join our group of tea-makers, we pay £40 per match to include the cost of ingredients. We have four dates remaining this season: Saturday 29th June, Saturday 6th July, Sunday 4th August and Saturday 24th August.

QUIZ NIGHT: Tickets now on sale

Cricket Club

Tickets are now available from the Post Office in Hemyock for the Autumn Quiz run by Hemyock Cricket Club. Tickets cost £18 for teams of from four to six players. The Quiz starts at 8.00 p.m. on Saturday 29th September in Hemyock Parish Hall. There will be a licensed bar and nibbles will be served.

Cricket ClubAs the harsh winter becomes a memory our thoughts turn to the coming summer. Hemyock Cricket Club will be playing in Division F of the Devon Cricket League on eighteen Saturdays from May 1st 2010. Our opponents will include local neighbours Culmstock and our local urban rivals Cullompton and Honiton. Spectators are welcome to attend our matches.

Cricket ClubIt was a new season, new captain and new era for Hemyock CC on Saturday. Inevitably the Bank Holiday combined with Hemyock Football Club's backlog of games in hand to offer new skipper John Hurley some major availability issues ahead of his first game in charge and the fixture was in serious doubt on the preceding Thursday when only seven players made themselves available for the game.
