HEMYOCK CRICKET CLUB
CRICKET TEA MAKERS: £40 per match
If you would like to join our group of tea-makers, we pay £40 per match to include the cost of ingredients. We have four dates remaining this season: Saturday 29th June, Saturday 6th July, Sunday 4th August and Saturday 24th August.
As the harsh winter becomes a memory our thoughts turn to the coming summer. Hemyock Cricket Club will be playing in Division F of the Devon Cricket League on eighteen Saturdays from May 1st 2010. Our opponents will include local neighbours Culmstock and our local urban rivals Cullompton and Honiton. Spectators are welcome to attend our matches.
It was a new season, new captain and new era for Hemyock CC on Saturday. Inevitably the Bank Holiday combined with Hemyock Football Club's backlog of games in hand to offer new skipper John Hurley some major availability issues ahead of his first game in charge and the fixture was in serious doubt on the preceding Thursday when only seven players made themselves available for the game.
Hemyock Cricket Club will be holding a Quiz Night on Friday 17 April, in the Parish Hall, at 7:30pm. £30 per team to include food (minimum of 4, maximum of 6 per team). Tickets are available from the Post Office until 14th April. £100 cash prize & raffle. For more information contact Sam Iddon (07817 755706) or John Hurley (07891 941306)
