David and Meg Palmer of Lower Mackham Farm, Hemyock were recently presented with an award by the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers. They spent time at the Country Living Christmas Fair in the atrium of the Business Design Centre, London before the evening presentation BTCV were celebrating their 50th year and had been chosen as Country Living's charity of the year. David and Meg's award was presented by personality Charlie Dimmock who has long supported the work of the charity.
