Open days are planned at the Healthy Living Centre when the Community Archives will be Open to the Public.
The first Weekend Open Days were arranged for the 9th and 10th April with many people visiting the Blackdown Healthy Living Centre to view the Archive material on display.
Further Open Days are arranged for the weekends of 14th and 15th May, 11th and 12th of June, 9th and 10th July, and 13th and 14th August.
Historic photographs will be on display in the exhibition area. The Archive database will be available for people to access any or all of the Archive material using keyword search facility. Simply key in the geographic area, family name or subject and all the appropriate images will pop up.
Historic books will also be on display. Copies of the material are all available to be purchased so that the Archiving operation will continue to be self financing.
