Maintenance Person Required
The parish council is looking for a maintenance person to do a variety of tasks on an annual contract. The contract is for approximately 50 days per annum (it is recognised that the tasks and hours will have seasonal fluctuations, requiring more effort in the summer months than winter) and the types of work involved will include cutting verges/hedges, strimming and weeding, maintaining council assets, benches, signs, play areas, noticeboards etc. If you are interested in tendering for this contract please contact the clerk by the end of April 2017.
Clerk: Mrs Donna Evans, Park Farm, Dunkeswell, Honiton, Devon EX14 4RN

Dry, mostly sunny and increasingly hot this week.
Plenty of late sunshine through Monday evening. Skies then largely remaining clear overnight, perhaps allowing the odd patch of mist to form in rural areas. A rather warm night, particularly in urban areas. Minimum Temperature 9 °C.
A generally sunny start to Tuesday with another dry and sunny day following. Feeling very warm or hot in the strong sunshine with high UV levels. Maximum Temperature 30 °C.
The dry weather continues through to the end of the week with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures continuing to climb, making it feel increasingly hot.
