The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles were welcomed to Hemyock on Saturday (11th July) by a peal of bells rung by the ringers of St Mary's church where the band, conducted by Sgt Martin Wills, gave a concert to a large audience.

Local Weather

Becoming wet and windy overnight, turning drier for Monday.

This Evening and Tonight:

A mostly dry evening. In the east there will be some clear spells and it will be cold with a frost likely in places. Cloudier further west. Wet, windy weather will push eastwards overnight, arriving in all parts by dawn. Minimum Temperature -2 °C.

Sunday:

Thick cloud, rain and strong winds will persist across the region for much of the day, giving a very grey feel. However, temperatures will be a few degrees above average. Maximum Temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday, turning drier and brighter after early rain clears. Dry early Tuesday before wet and windy weather spreads east. This clearing later on Wednesday then some sunshine and blustery showers.
