Longmead Field

Longmead Field is owned by the Parish Council and is a versatile and functional sports and recreation field for use by Hemyock residents and those from the Blackdowns and surrounding areas.

The Longmead Management Group (LMG) has representatives from all the clubs and groups who use Longmead and is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the Longmead sports, play and leisure facilities. These facilities include three tennis courts (two with floodlights), two football pitches, a children's play area, a flood-lit multi-use games area (MUGA), boules pitch and a state-of-the-art pavilion.

NB You don't have to be a member of a club to use the facilities: the MUGA, tennis courts and pavilion can be hired by the hour. To find out about hiring the MUGA and pavilion, please contact Karen Pinder (01823 681034). To find out about hiring the tennis courts follow the link to the tennis club on the left of the screen, or pay at the Spar shop.
