Friends of St Mary's Church
We are a smallish group, who aim to organise events (eg concerts, open gardens, etc) to raise funds for St Mary's Church, whilst at the same time having fun and fellowship.
Our number has grown to thirteen during the last year. If anyone would like to join us in the future you would be very welcome.
Showers or rain today, then turning much brighter tomorrow.
Today:
A cloudy day for many with showery rain or drizzle in places at first. Brighter in Cornwall and perhaps brightening up elsewhere by the afternoon, with isolated heavy showers developing. More persistent rain arriving in many areas later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Turning increasingly wet for most this evening although Cornwall and Devon may stay drier with the odd shower. Rain continuing in eastern counties overnight. Freshening northerly winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Sunday:
Some rain to begin with, mainly in eastern areas. Drier elsewhere with brighter skies and the odd shower spreading from the west through the day. Warmer but breezy at times. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Warmer and brighter for most through this period. Mostly dry in eastern counties with a few showers possible but rain edging into western areas at times. Often brisk southeasterly winds.
