At the AGM of Hemyock Singers on Monday, 12th March, there being no other nominations, the present Committee were re-elected en bloc. The Treasurer reported a satisfactory situation, thanks to good ticket sales and donations. However, next year the accounts of the choral and stage groups will be presented separately. The choral group will be singing Haydn's Creation in St Mary's Church on Friday, 27th April. This will be enhanced by projected illustrations which will give an extra dimension to the evening. There will be a retiring collection for a local charity.
On Friday, 13th July, there will be a performance of some of our local composer, Bob Brien's works. Then in the autumn, on 15th and 16th November SHOWSTOPPERS.
The stage group will be presenting its show during October half term. Auditions will be in May. More performers are always welcome.
Chairman: Janice Bawler - 680352
