Parish Council Welcomes Margaret Squires, New Chairman of MDDC

Mid Devon District Council has been in some turmoil recently , with many new Councillors and the placing of the Council under more direct central government supervision.
Margaret Squires has taken over as the new Chairman of MDDC and a completely new structure for the Council looks imminent.
She came to the Hemyock Parish Council meeting on 4th July and was welcomed by Heather Stallard and the Parish Council members. In a short speech she welcomed the opportunity to meet the Councillors and commented on how much had been achieved and the vibrancy of the Council.
