As of 1st January 2009, BHaam (Blackdown Hills Artists and Makers) are renting the old Tennis Court site in Hemyock. We hope to make this an inspiring and exciting space in which all the community can participate and we look forward to creating some highly enjoyable and thought provoking events. You may already have noticed some strange happenings and experimentations taking place within the space and over the coming year members of BHaam hope to stage a series of arts events, community workshops and performances so 'watch the space'! We intend to lock the Court when we have work in progress to ensure safety and that only Mother Nature intervenes. Alternatively when the space is not being used we will leave it unlocked for community use, however we would appreciate your cooperation and ask that you leave the space as you find it.
The first event we hope to stage will be an open air screening of locally made film at the end of February - come along - unknowingly you or someone you know may be on the big screen! Initial planning is already under way for this event and details will be advertised nearer the time, so keep an eye out for posters and signs.
