Tennis Club - Sept 06 Update

We've been at Longmead for nearly 12 months now and all the members, both old and new, have enjoyed playing on the new courts.  Our membership has increased substantially and the Club has been very pleased to welcome so many new members. We held Coaching Courses for both Juniors and Seniors in August and we held a Tournament for the Junior Boys in early September. The "Singles" was won by Jake Welch, with runner-up, Darren Webb. The "Doubles" winners were Sam Moles and Paul Moralee.

Our Club Mornings on Saturdays will continue right through the winter and we would be delighted to welcome anybody who is interested in joining (for a greatly reduced price!).

We've been very pleased by the number of bookings of "non-members" and we would like to thank Christine and her staff at the Spar for their great help in making this possible.
