There were no signs of rust in the Hemyock U9 camp after they beat Brixington United 7-1 in their first game for a month. With Liam Travers and Dean Blake running things, they tore the defence apart to go 4-0 up at half time. Dean scored two and Liam one, and there was an OG.
The second half belonged to Ashley Jaji, who completed a hat-trick with a firmly struck penalty.
They were then undone by a strong Brixington Blues side 2-0. Man of the match George Catcher tackled everything and then had time to attack, but Blues hit twice on the break.
