Hemyock

On Saturday 24th February twenty-four people (fully-booked!) attended the workshop "The Spirit of Taize" at Hemyock Village Hall, led by Gabrielle Newman-Turner. Making a glorious sound in four part-harmony, we sang our way through nine chants from the well known religious community of Taize in France. The next workshop will be on Saturday 9th June entitled "Round, Canon and Catch". Suitable for all abilities, we will be singing rounds from different eras and traditions, from the well known "Shalom", to a piece by Purcell.

The workshop will run from 10.00 - 13.00 and costs £7.50. Concessions £5.
