A Hemyock Nursery has won an award at this year's Hampton Court Flower Show. The largest annual flower show in the world showcased its best crop of gardens in 18 years, with 10 RHS gold medals announced earlier this week. Ward Alpines, from Hemyock, were awarded a Silver Lindley in the plant Heritage Marquee section.
Bob Sweet, RHS show organiser, said the winners did well under challenging conditions.
He said: "The designers have pulled out all the stops and created a feast of colourful, sumptuous and exciting gardens.
"Children played a role with a number of the gardens and their creativity and imagination shone through with elements such as big spider webs, winking scarecrows and pebble mazes."
