The annual Parish meeting on 1st May at the Hemyock Parish Hall is the place to get up-to-date with what is happening in this vibrant rural community. With the Longmead sports field project looking tremendous and entering its final development phase, and other projects in the village just about to get off the ground, the Parish Council, led by Heather Stallard, is thoroughly energised said spokesman Councillor Steven Reed.
The cheese and wine evening will represent all the best that is happening in the village, with graphic representations on display to highlight their successes and future plans. The evening which begins at 7.00pm will be made especially interesting with talks on local law and order issues by an area magistrate and the latest information about the Neroche project.
Such is the council’s confidence that it is considering entering the Village of the Year competition this year.
