Heavitree Eagles 5 V Hemyock 3
Hemyock for once did not get off to the customary slow start and went two goals up early on both expertly taken by Callum Shenton. Heavitree fought back strongly putting the Hemyock defence under a great deal of pressure Ben Kittow made some great tackles but both he and Ned Travers at the back needed more cover from the midfield colleagues to resist the Heavitree onslaught which eventually led to Heavitree drawing level on the stroke of half time.
In an end to end game Heavitree took control of the game scoring 3 further goals without reply. Callum Shenton playing his best football of the season added the third for a great hattrick which rounded off his great performance. Overall this was a great game to watch with both teams playing excellent football.
Heavitree Hawks 1 v Hemyock 5
The second game saw a reverse in fortune for Hemyock the first goal was a very unfortunate own goal by Heavitree which set up Hemyock for a good team performance. Another stroke of luck for Hemyock as a corner was deflected in off another Heavitree player. Further goals where scored by Luke Cuthbert, Joe Hurley and Ned Travers with Heavitree replying with a shot from a very tight angle.
