Previously we mentioned the small Bavarian village of Oberammergau where a Passion Play has been performed every 10 years since the time of the Black death. In 2010 they will perform it for the 41st time. The whole village is involved in the show.
We have been looking at the possibility of a visit to see the performance. It would be about 5 to 7 days, and the cost would be in the region of £1000 to £1400 depending on length and transport mode. Booking for the play starts well in advance and tickets sell out quickly. So we need to finalise plans fairly soon. So if you would like to make an initial expression of interest, without any commitment, could you please contact Brian Samuels on 664729, or at 101 Bulford, Wellington, or by email at gandbsamuels@tiscali.co.uk. by April 15th please. Thank you.
