Regency House is the original Hemyock Rectory, built in 1855 with a yard and barn much older than that.
Over the last twenty years the garden has been brought back to life from a state of near dereliction and returned to its highly productive state of yesteryear. The walled veg garden produces a phenomenal amount of fantastic food now. There are ponds and well-trimmed yew hedges, a blue and white garden, bog garden, a new winter garden, many other interesting areas to explore and lots of places just to sit.
Do come and visit this wonderful garden, only a five minute walk from the Catherine Wheel on the Dunkeswell Road and try your hand at identifying the plants with the mind-boggling plant list that has been compiled over the years.
