The walks are divided into two categories. A short walk of 30-40 minutes which is suitable for those who do little or no physical activity at present, who may be restricted by mobility problems and walk slowly, finding hills a problem. The walks are on flat level surfaces with no hills or steps. The second category is a moderate walk of 60-90 minutes which is suitable for those who already do a small amount of physical activity and perhaps have minor mobility problems, but are able to cope with slight hills. The moderate walk will use footpaths including some gradients.
The walks begin on 1st September and will begin and end at the Parish Hall in Hemyock. The short walks are on the first and third Tuesdays at 11.00am. The moderate walks are on the second and fourth Thursdays at 2.00pm. For more information contact the Blackdown Support Group on 01823 681036.
