Hemyock 4 Countess Wear 2
Hemyock finally played a home match after nearly two months and it does make a difference to the way they play. They have had two very disappointing results lately both away and needed to get back home and winning ways. The first twenty minutes were very even with no keepers having anything to do as the midfields cancelled themselves out. The first chance went to Ashley Jaji who only had the keeper to beat but somehow managed to put the ball wide. It was not much longer before Hemyock had another chance but this time Nicky Pratt hit the crossbar with the keeper well beaten. Half time and the scores was 0-0.
Second half saw Countess Wear start on top and deservingly take a 1-0 lead with a great shot that gave Josh Allen no chance in goal. This seemed to wake up Hemyock and soon was level when Nicky Pratt was pushed in the area to allow Ashley Jaji to score from the penalty spot. Hemyock then took control and a deflected Ashley Jaji free kick gave Hemyock the lead. This was soon followed by the goal of the game with Nicky Pratt linking up with Brandon Hayman to cross to Ashley Jaji to get his hat-trick. Hemyock then sat back to allow Countess Wear to score again and with the luck they are having at the moment the fans thought it was all going to go wrong. But Louis Allan, who was having a great game on the left, found himself through on goal and he gave the keeper no chance. So the final score was 4-2.
MOM was jointly the Ashleys, Jaji and Venn.
