There is a court booking system on this website. Members will receive their passwords to be able to book courts when they have paid their subscriptions for the year.
Anyone can look at the booking system, but not enter bookings, by using the Username 'tennisread' and also the Password 'tennisread'.

We have arranged junior coaching at the tennis courts again this summer. Lauren Curry (who did the coaching last summer and proved very popular) will be holding one-hour sessions for children of different age/ability on Tuesday mornings starting on July 24th and finishing on August 28th (six sessions in total). Each session will cost £5 or £25 for all six sessions (payable in advance or on the first day). If you are interested, please let Julie Steed know (01823 680787 or firstname.lastname@example.org)
Hemyock Tennis Club are holding an Open Evening on Friday 18th May and would welcome anyone (young or old, lapsed player or complete beginner) to come along & have a go. You don’t even have to bring your own racket because Tony Pryce Sports will be bringing a range of rackets to try out. Our coach, Dan Loftus, and existing members will also be there to give help and encouragement if needed. The pavilion will be open for light refreshments.
No need to book.

Congratulations to three teams from Hemyock Tennis Club who have won in their respective Leagues this year. In the spring, the Men's Team won their Division of the Somerset Winter League for which they were awarded a rather smart engraved glass bowl, and just now the Mixed Summer Leagues have finished.
Our summer mixed league has started again with both teams doing well after two rounds. If you'd like to take part contact Rachel: email@example.com Matches are played in the evening and are usually mid-week. "Mini-tennis" (small racquets and soft balls) is being run in conjunction with the Primary School for 5-9 yr olds after school this term. It's a good introduction to the sport. Contact our club coach firstname.lastname@example.org
Hemyock Tennis Club are organising coaching for Juniors and Seniors over the summer, starting on March 27th. There is something for everyone and all standards, non-Members and Members. See the attached schedule for more details
Fortified by home made cakes and warm brews supplied by club members, Hemyock Tennis Club raised over £550 for Sports Relief. Undeterred by the weather, this enthusiastic tennis club - which enjoys the facilities of the Longmead Field Sports Centre with 3 all weather courts and a club pavilion - played continuous tennis from 9am to 9pm on Saturday 21 March (a particularly cold and wet day) with the benefit of floodlights in the evening.
We enjoyed the long spell of lovely autumn weather and now the rain and winds have arrived we are still managing to get some tennis in, in between the showers.
Play continues through the winter with the floodlights enabling us to have our evening club sessions and friendlies with Honiton Tennis Club. Club sessions are on Thursday evenings (6.30pm), Saturday mornings (10.30am) and Sunday mornings (10.30 am, advanced).
