Changes to timetables
With all bus operators, the situation day-to-day is dependent on staff availability and may change quickly.
If a journey is of critical importance, for example, for a key worker, we recommend that you check with the operator concerned.

CEMETERY REOPENS
New Legislation Allows Cemeteries to Reopen
Following new guidance, issued by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management, I am delighted to inform you we will be reopening our cemetery to the public from today.
Last week emergency legislation was brought in by Central Government instructing all burial grounds and crematoriums to be closed, as part of a host of new measures brought in relating to the Coronavirus pandemic.
In line with this legislation Councils closed cemeteries to the public, except for burials.
However, after seeking clarification about the legislation new guidance has been released and Hemyock Parish Council is pleased it can now safely reopen the cemetery, in line with the updated rules.
Anyone visiting must abide by social distancing rules and no one should be attending the cemeteries if they are showing any symptoms of illness.

CEMETERY CLOSED
It is with deep regret that we must comply with emergency legislation and close our cemetery to members of the public, unless a funeral is taking place.
We understand this will be a very distressing time for a lot of people who have lost loved ones, but we must comply to ensure the safety of everyone.
This is with immediate effect.

Snow and ice for some to start Friday.
Icy stretches at first as a band of rain, sleet and some hill snow moves across the region in the morning. Turning sunnier during the afternoon, though scattered wintry showers continuing in the west. Breezy and feeling cold. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Wintry showers continuing across Cornwall and West Devon overnight. Remaining mostly dry further east with largely clear skies. A widespread, locally harsh, frost developing under the starry scenes. Minimum temperature -4 °C.
Continuing wintry showers in the west bring the chance of icy patches on untreated surfaces. Dry in the east with plenty of sunshine. Still cold, particularly with the ongoing breeze. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Very similar on Sunday and Monday: cold but largely dry with winter sunshine by day and frost by night. Perhaps cloudier on Tuesday with some rain and hill snow possible.
