Devon County Council has confirmed there is one other change to the Bus 20 Service.
The following changes will take effect from Monday 25th July:
- The service will no longer serve West Buckland, Somerset;
- The 1700 bus from Seaton to Taunton will terminate at Culmstock at 1820 and not carry on to Wellington and Taunton.
There are no other changes and the service will continue to be supported exclusively by Devon County Council.
Several parishioners have contacted me about Bus No 20. Â Somerset County Council is withdrawing its subsidy from the service. Â Â
I have contacted Somerset County Council who has told me . . .Â
There is only a slight change to service 20 as a result of the withdrawal of our funding, and this will only be implemented in the summer once the Colleges have broken up. The change is that West Buckland will be removed from the route, the service will continue to Wellington and Taunton.Â

Chilly with sunny spells and scattered showers.
A chilly morning with any, low cloud, mist and fog soon lifting. Scattered showers arriving from the north, heavy at times and possibly turning wintry over the Moors. Temperatures similar to previous days with light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Any showers gradually easing through the evening to leave a mostly dry night. Turning chilly underneath the clearest skies with a touch of frost and some fog patches developing. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Mist and fog soon clearing to leave a drier day compared to Friday with a mixture of sunny spells and a few, mostly light, showers. Breezier in the south. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Cloudier on Sunday and Monday with a few showers mixed with brighter interludes. Brighter but breezier on Tuesday with plenty of lengthy sunny spells. Chilly by night with frost patches.
