Devon County Council has confirmed there is one other change to the Bus 20 Service.
The following changes will take effect from Monday 25th July:
- The service will no longer serve West Buckland, Somerset;
- The 1700 bus from Seaton to Taunton will terminate at Culmstock at 1820 and not carry on to Wellington and Taunton.
There are no other changes and the service will continue to be supported exclusively by Devon County Council.
Several parishioners have contacted me about Bus No 20. Somerset County Council is withdrawing its subsidy from the service.
I have contacted Somerset County Council who has told me . . .
There is only a slight change to service 20 as a result of the withdrawal of our funding, and this will only be implemented in the summer once the Colleges have broken up. The change is that West Buckland will be removed from the route, the service will continue to Wellington and Taunton.

A chilly start, and once any mist or fog clears, a fine Thursday is to come with warm spells of sunshine and light winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
For the rest of the week, and into the weekend, it should remain dry with sunny spells, though feeling a little cooler. Chilly nights where skies remain clear. Light winds.
