I’m writing to you with some final details regarding the Tour of Britain Devon stage which will be travelling through Hemyock on Monday 3rd September and to ask for your assistance in ensuring its safe passage through the village.

Village Toilets
At long last Mid Devon District Council has finished refurbishing the toilets.
Whilst the parish council was waiting for the refurbishment to be completed, the cleaner that had been lined up nearly a year ago has understandably found alternative employment so the parish council is now looking for a cleaner.
Fine on Friday. Breezier and cloudier this weekend.
Late sunshine to end Thursday, then staying dry overnight with plenty of clear spells. Mist and fog patches developing under light winds. A fresh night. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Mainly dry and bright with plenty of sunny spells once any mist quickly clears. Breezier at times, especially through the Bristol Channel. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
A breezy and largely cloudy weekend with spells of rain or showers. Feeling humid on Saturday but fresher on Sunday. Showers easing on Monday with sunny spells emerging.
