I’m writing to you with some final details regarding the Tour of Britain Devon stage which will be travelling through Hemyock on Monday 3rd September and to ask for your assistance in ensuring its safe passage through the village.

Village Toilets
At long last Mid Devon District Council has finished refurbishing the toilets.
Whilst the parish council was waiting for the refurbishment to be completed, the cleaner that had been lined up nearly a year ago has understandably found alternative employment so the parish council is now looking for a cleaner.
Heavy showers then turning colder but drier on Saturday.
A day of sunshine and heavy showers, these merging to give longer spells of rain during the afternoon with the risk of hail. Hill snow possible on the Moors heading into the evening. Turning windy, especially in the west later. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Rain and possible hill snow sinking southwards this evening accompanied by strong winds. Turning drier and colder overnight with clear spells and a frost by dawn, along with icy stretches. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
A frosty, cold but bright start. Sunshine turning increasingly hazy through the day before further rain arrives from the west by the evening. Much lighter winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Wet and windy weather, with hill snow, clearing Saturday night and into Sunday with blustery showers following behind. Sunshine and blustery showers on Monday, with further rain possible on Tuesday.
