I’m writing to you with some final details regarding the Tour of Britain Devon stage which will be travelling through Hemyock on Monday 3rd September and to ask for your assistance in ensuring its safe passage through the village.

Village Toilets
At long last Mid Devon District Council has finished refurbishing the toilets.
Whilst the parish council was waiting for the refurbishment to be completed, the cleaner that had been lined up nearly a year ago has understandably found alternative employment so the parish council is now looking for a cleaner.
Cold with clear skies and icy stretches. Sunny on Friday.
Remaining clear and dry in the east, with any wintry showers gradually fading in the west. Breezy to start but winds easing through the night. Turning cold underneath the clear skies with icy stretches and a widespread frost. Minimum temperature -3 °C.
A cold and frosty start with icy stretches in places. Otherwise a dry and sunny day with lighter winds than of late. Cloud gradually building during the evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Remaining cloudy and changeable from Saturday, as bands of rain and showers push eastwards across the region. Breezy at times. Feeling less cold as temperatures return to near average.
