A Village on the Blackdown Hills

Hemyock is the largest village on the Blackdown Hills, which is now designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The parish has an area of about 2350 hectares, and lies on the NW of the Blackdown Hills.
The village boasts a wide variety of clubs and activities to suit all ages and requirements - from bowls and tennis to WI and religious meetings.

High pressure brings a warm and settled week.
Low cloud, mist and fog generally clearing inland, leaving another dry day with plenty of warm sunshine. However a chance of some low cloud lingering around some coasts for much of the day. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Some low cloud remains around coasts. Otherwise a dry night on offer where mist and fog may develop under clear skies. Staying mild overnight too. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Once any low cloud and early morning mist and fog clears, another fine and dry day is on offer with plenty of warm sunshine. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
High pressure continues to dominate bringing lots of dry weather. Plenty of warm sunshine with the odd shower possible by the weekend and a continued chance of fog overnight.
