Archived Stories We now stand on the threshold of spring, the season of renewal. I'm sure that all of us will enjoy the longer days, the opportunity to get back outside and nurture our gardens back to new life. Not that they need our help, they are quite capable of doing it all on their own! But, we have our own ideas about how they should look and will hack, prod, dig, mow and generally bully them into submission - because we are the ones in control and want it done our way.

Do you like chocolate and all things chocolate?

Hemyock W.I. are hosting a Chocolate Morning on Saturday 22nd March at 10.30 am in the Parish Hall Hemyock.  Last year's event was a real success and we hope you will be able to join us this year for a welcome alternative to a coffee morning.

There will be hot chocolate to drink, chocolate cakes and biscuits to eat and to buy, a chocolate tombola, a chocolate fountain, chocoholics chocolates and a wondeful draw with an amazing chocolate hamper as the first prize.

Of course if you don't like chocolate we will still be able to serve you with a cup of tea or coffee so come along and enjoy some time out with friends.
