Welcome to Hemyock, Anonymous Wednesday, June 25 2025 @ 11:49 pm UTC
It is widely recognized that Hemyock has had significant housing development over recent years.
Members of Hemyock Parish Council held an additional meeting in order to discuss the Culm Development Plan (see here). This was because of their real interest and deep concern about areas of the village which were being considered by Mid Devon District Council for future affordable housing and employment development. The plan identifies three areas within Hemyock where affordable housing and/or employment construction could take place.
1st Hemyock Brownies are seen here celebrating with their certificates and rewards for raising £617.75 for Children with Leukaemia, through the Children’s Marathon Challenge and the Cheeky Monkey’s Marathon Challenge.
Cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain overnight. Breezy on Thursday.
Scattered showers spread northeastwards through this evening, some heavy spells at times. Showery rain then moving into the west through the early hours and turning breezy. Warm and humid. Minimum temperature 16 °C.
