A Village on the Blackdown Hills

Hemyock is the largest village on the Blackdown Hills, which is now designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The parish has an area of about 2350 hectares, and lies on the NW of the Blackdown Hills.
The village boasts a wide variety of clubs and activities to suit all ages and requirements - from bowls and tennis to WI and religious meetings.

Cloud breaking to leave sunny spells and showers.
A damp and overcast start with patchy outbreaks of drizzle giving way to brighter conditions during the morning. A few isolated showers developing during the afternoon with more persistent rain edging in by the evening. Feeling mild with winds easing. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Cloudier through the evening with outbreaks of rain pushing northwards across the region, clearing most by dawn. Another mild night with light winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Often cloudy to start with some rain lingering in the east. Largely dry in the afternoon with the odd brighter spell. Staying mild. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Largely dry to start on Thursday with rain and drizzle arriving later. Sunny spells and blustery scattered showers on Friday and Saturday, these heavy at times and turning chillier.
