Hemyock Cricket Club's popular general knowledge quiz is being held this Friday, 4th April, in the Parish Hall at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are now available from the Post Office in Hemyock or by ringing John Hurley on 07891 941306. Tickets are £30 for each team to include food (minimum of 4, maximum of 6 per team). Prize of £100 to the winning team.

Hemyock Cricket Club are holding their highly successful general knowledge Quiz Night again on Friday 4th April at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall. A changeable day consisting of cloudy periods, occasional sunny spells and showers. These may be heavy with a chance of hail, but may ease somewhat later. Windy and relatively mild. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Heavy showers continuing this evening with hail possible, though these becoming mainly restricted to Devon and Cornwall overnight. Winds slowly easing allowing patchy frost and ice in eastern counties. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Generally dry although the odd shower is possible in west Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Hazy sunshine at times, mainly in the east. Somewhat colder but much lighter winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Strong southeasterly winds on Wednesday, with rain in places and snow possible over higher ground. Mainly fine on Thursday with some sunshine. Southerly winds freshening on Friday with rain later.
