A Village on the Blackdown Hills
Welcome to Hemyock Wednesday, July 03 2024 @ 11:24 am UTC
For many years Hemyock youth uniformed groups have travelled to Tiverton for the District St George's Day Parade and Service but this years they have decided to hold this very special service at St Mary's.
The parade of Scouts, Cubs and Brownies will be leaving the Parish Hall at 11am this coming Sunday. Please support our young people and their leaders by joining them at the church for the 11.15am service. All are welcome especially families and those who have been a past member whether in Hemyock or elsewhere.
Are you an early riser who is looking forward to celebrating Easter? If so the 7am joint Sunrise service is for you. An informal service at Gray's Lane followed by breakfast begins Easter Sunday.
At 11.15am a service of Holy Communion will take place at St Mary's Church
Please see Parish Pump fo further details

St Mary's Church has been overwhelmed by the response to its appeal for donations to the local foodbank.
Unfortunately a number of items have been out of date and will need to be destroyed as the foodbank will not permit these to be distributed. If you would check the date on any contribution we would be grateful
Thank you for your continuing support
A note from County Highways....
