The past month has been an horrendous time for those living in the Far East following the cyclone in Myanmar (Burma) and the horrific earthquake in China. The scenes we have been shown on television or in the newspapers cannot begin to describe the anguish felt by the survivors. Remaining unsettled with showers and longer periods of rain.
Showery rain tending to ease as the evening progresses, with most places then staying dry overnight. On the chilly side under the clearest skies as winds fall light. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
A brighter and warmer day is expected, with sunny spells. Turning increasingly breezy as the day progresses, with cloud and some rain returning to the far west by late evening. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Unsettled on Friday, with showers or longer spells of rain. Sunny spells and scattered showers are expected through the weekend. Breezy, especially on Saturday. Temperatures generally below average.
