UPDATE: We now have only two dates remaining: Saturday 18th May and Saturday 29th June, if you would like to join our group of tea-makers. We pay £40 per match to include the cost of ingredients. Teas consist of sandwiches, savouries such as sausage rolls, and cake.

You can purchase tickets for Hemyock Cricket Club's April Quiz at the Post Office in Hemyock. The Quiz will be held on Friday 26th April 2013 starting at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Come and test your general knowledge against quizmasters Vanessa and Tony. Admission £30 per team to include food (maximum six members). Licensed bar. £100 first prize. Please purchase your tickets by Thursday 25th. No tickets for sale on the door. Thank you.

Annual Parish Meeting 

Hemyock will be holding its Annual Parish Meeting on Saturday 27th April 2013 at 2.30pm in the Parish Hall.  There will be various displays around the hall, guest speakers, Neighbourhood Plan/Parish Plan discussion and cream teas.  Everyone welcome, please come along.

Tomorrow evening (Friday 19th) 7.30pm, St Mary's Church - Hemyock Singers will perform Brahms Requiem with conductor Ron White and organist Nigel Atkinson. Soloists Jenny Doble and Glyn Jones.  Free admission with retiring collection for the Cameo Club.

This will be Ron's final concert as the choirs Musical Director and possibly the choirs last performance.  We hope to see you there.

Hemyock Singers - a final bow?

Friday 19th April may well see Hemyock Singers giving their final performance.  Our Musical Director, Ron White, will be retiring after 10 years service and so far no replacement has been found.

The concert, Brahms Requiem, will take place at St Mary's church at 7.30pm.  No entrance charge but a retiring collection for a  local charity - the CAMEO Club.

We do hope you will be able to join us as we have always enjoyed tremendous support from our audiences.
