Welcome to Hemyock, Anonymous Friday, July 04 2025 @ 01:31 am UTC
Organised by the Friends of St Mary's the parish church has been decorated with over 20 Christmas trees by local organisations and is a glorious sight. Tinsel, baubles, lights, stars, seed packets, PO boxes, poppies , beer mats, and knitted goods along with colours of gold, silver and red are amongst the objects used to bring the festival alive. The festival opens at 10,30a.m.on Friday and Saturday and 12.30 on Sunday
Refreshments including light lunches are being served in the Church Room which has also been seasonally decorated
The St David's Singers will be giving a concert in the church at 7.30p. on Saturday - tickets on the door to include mulled wine and mince pies: and a service of Holy Commumion will take place at 11.15a.m. on Sunday
It's that time of year for Hemyock Parish Council to have its Christmas Decoration Competition.
So enter into the spirit of Christmas and help make the village look festive and cheerful.
