Hemyock 4 Sidmouth Warriors 6
On a glorious Saturday these two teams gave everyone watching an exciting game. The first half was dominated by Sidmouth scoring three goals with no reply. They were helped by some very poor defending from the Hemyock boys who were finding it very hard to adapt to the full size pitch.
Turning wet and windy with some hill snow possible.
The morning will be mostly dry and after a frosty start for some, there will be some sunshine. However, cloud will gradually increase from the southwest, with wet and windy weather developing across Devon and Cornwall later. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
The evening will start dry, albeit cloudy in the east, perhaps with an initial patchy frosty. Wet and rather windy weather further west will gradually extend to all areas overnight. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Wednesday will see outbreaks of rain turning heavy and persistent at times. Snow is possible on the Moors, especially later, and there will be a strong to gale force wind. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Overnight rain and snow will clear to leave a sunnier but chilly day on Thursday, with lighter winds. Milder on Friday and Saturday, though some rain, and becoming windy again.
