The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires Devon County Council to keep the Definitive Map and Statement of public rights of way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded or deleted.  A review is currently being undertaken in the Parish of Clayhidon.

 Dear Colleagues, (Click here for map)

 Circumstances and weather permitting, on behalf of Devon County Council SWH will be carrying out the following works under a road closure: 

Type of work: Surfacing 

Location:  Wheelbarrow Lane and Lemon’s Hill Hemyock 

Dates:  Thursday 2nd – Thursday 9th July 2015    

Details of the closure and diversion route are shown on the attached map. 

All affected properties will be letter dropped and we will endeavour to maintain access to properties within the closure, however there may be times when access is restricted/delayed, and South West Highways would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these essential works.

Local Weather

Dry tonight with sunny spells tomorrow.

This Evening and Tonight:

Tonight will be dry with clear spells for most, although there may be some isolated mist or fog patches as we head towards the early hours. Minimum Temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday:

A largely fine day with sunny spells, although there is a chance of the odd shower in the afternoon. Turning cloudy in the far west later with some rain. Maximum Temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Windy at times through the rest of the week with a spell of heavy rain during Wednesday. Largely dry with sunny periods Thursday and Friday, and perhaps the odd shower.
